gamescom 2022で開催された「Metal: Hellsinger」オリジナルサウンドトラックの無料コンサート動画が公開に

　Funcomは，2022年9月15日のリリースが予定されているリズムアクションFPS「Metal: Hellsinger」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One）の無料コンサートを「gamescom 2022」で開催し，メタルファンには気になるバンドが結集したオリジナルサウンドトラックを公開した。

　「Metal: Hellsinger」は，半魔人となってしまった主人公「ジ・アンノウン」（The Unknown / 知られざる者）が，地獄を舞台に悪魔の軍勢への復讐を挑んでいくというタイトルだ。プレイヤーは，ヘビーメタルのビートと狭まる中央のレティクルに合わせて銃を撃ち，敵を倒していくことで高得点を獲得していく。

　ナレーションは，著名な声優であるトロイ・ベイカー（Troy Baker）氏が担当しているだけでなく，フィーチャーされているサウンドトラックもすべて書き下ろし曲となっている。


　今回のコンサートでは，オリジナルサウンドトラックの中から，マシュー・キイチ・ヒーフィー氏（トリヴィアム），ジェームズ・ドートン氏 (ブラッククラウンイニシエート)，ミカエル・スタンネ氏（ダーク・トランキュリティ），デニス・リクセンゼン氏（リフューズド），そしてアリッサ・ホワイト＝グラズ氏（アーチ・エネミー）ら欧米を代表するボーカリストが登壇してサウンドトラックを披露しており，メタルヘッズ系のゲーマーならば，しっかり聞き込んでおくといいだろう。



　「Metal: Hellsinger」は日本語にも対応しており，インタフェースと字幕がローカライズされる予定になっている。海外では，PS5およびXbox Series X向けの予約販売も始まっており，特典として48時間のアーリーアクセスが用意されている。PC版のプレオーダーはまだ始まっていないものの，Steamストアページでは無料デモも公開されているので，気になる人は遊んでおこう。
